Allergy Procedures
What To Expect:
Our allergy tests are performed by specialized allergy nurses using the latest up-to-date allergy testing materials which provide the most accurate results with minimal discomfort.
SKIN TESTING:
Plastic applicators are used to make superficial scratches on the outer layer of the skin. Some brief itching may occur.
LUNG FUNCTION TESTING:
Lung function tests are performed by blowing into a computerized device several times.
□ Dr. Andrew S. Kim serves as our medical director of the Allergy & Asthma Center of Fairfax. He is active in many publications about allergy & asthma in both local and national levels. He has also received Pillsbury Fellow Award at the Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL. After receiving his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia, Dr. Kim has completed 6 additional years of residency and fellowship training in family practice, internal medicine and allergy, asthma and immunology. Dr. Kim is board certified by The American Board of Allergy & Immunology and The American Board of Internal Medicine.
□ Dr. Seth C. Craig has been in practice for allergy and asthma for more than 30 years and has founded Allergy & Asthma Center of Fredericksburg, Ltd. After graduating from medical school, Dr. Craig completed 5 additional years in residency and fellowship training for allergy, asthma and immunology at Children’s Hospital of Buffalo. Dr. Craig is board certified by The American Board of Pediatrics and The American Board of Allergy & Immunology.

After receiving her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia, Dr. Stribling completed 5 additional years in residency and fellowship training in pediatrics and allergy, asthma and immunology from Wake Forest University and Virginia Commonwealth University. She is board certified by The American Board of Pediatrics and board eligible for The American Board of Allergy and Immunology.
